Christmas Gift Guide 2017

Christmas Gift Guide 2017

It’s nearly Christmas! The busiest time of year. We’re all running around like headless chickens buying gifts for every member of the family and all our friends. Save yourself the stress and take ideas and inspiration from my 2017 gift guide! From stocking fillers to presents for dad, I’ve got you covered!

For Mum and Dad

Treat mum to this beautiful, season appropriate, Twilby Long Joules scarf from Amara.

This gorgeous scarf comes in at £29.95, a pretty fair price for something of this quality! This is perfect for anyone who feels the cold, I know my mum definitely does! The contrast of the classic Joules navy and mustard is so eye-catching but it’s so easy to pair with any outfit. It’s a nice and wide scarf so she’ll be able to wrap it around herself, wear it as a normal scarf or tie it for extra warmth! Get her something she’ll use this Christmas!

Match mum and dad up with this lovely sock & mug set by Joules, also from Amara.

This set is perfect for the ‘hard to buy for’ men in your life! The socks are a thicker material, perfect for winter and keeping his feet toasty while he sips on a brew. What dad doesn’t love a humorous mug?! ‘I like big mugs and I cannot lie…’  It’s sure to put a smile on his face when he’s unwrapping it on Christmas day. You can grab this for £19.95.

For Her

Sister, girlfriend or best friend? Or maybe all three?!

Can you ever really go wrong with a Lush gift box? The answer to that is no! Two of my favourite picks this year are the Snow Fairy Gift Box (£24.95) and the Honey Gift Box (£24.95).

Jewellery Hoarder?

Does she think she has it all? Show her she doesn’t! These gorgeous Rosa Lea Earrings from T.H Baker (£49.95) are the perfect pair for the Christmas party season. I already have a post all about them so you can read that and see more gorgeous pictures here.

For Relaxation…

Know someone who needs to sit back and relax this Christmas? Treat them to a soothing scented candle. I picked this Sand + Fog Lemon and Lavender Candle up from Homesense for UNDER £10! You can’t go wrong with a scented candle, try and go for something that resembles essential oils! Lemon & lavender are both extremely soothing, perfect to pair with your Lush gift boxes for an indulgent bath time!

Disney Princess?

Know someone who loves Disney? Grab them this set of Bambi Bath Fizzers from MAD Beauty! These are an absolute bargain at £7.99 and will please people of all ages! These four fizzers are wildflower scented. You really can’t ever have enough bath bombs so stock up while you can! Christmas isn’t complete without a nice, hot bath!

Flower Bomb

No Christmas is complete without a perfume! Everyone has their own taste, obviously, but I’d opt for Viktor & Rolf’s Flower Bomb. It’s such an amazing perfume to have in your collection for the bottle alone. This is definitely one to keep out on display! It’s so clean and fresh looking and it smells divine. It has a soft, sweet and floral scent which lasts for hours. As you can see, mine is used! I pick this up every time I leave the house, it really is my go-to! I’m really very fussy with perfumes but this one, I adore. You can go for the 30 ML, perfect present if you just want someone to try it first. Or, you can get a 50 ML or even 100 ML, which I will be getting myself!

Stocking Fillers!

Stocking fillers are probably my favourite things to buy for Christmas. The fun gifts that bring laughter and joy… not that the ones under the tree don’t! I just find these a little more light-hearted.

There are so many mini wonders you can whack in a stocking! Three of my favourites this year are these little treats from MAD Beauty.  I love anything small that I can take with me in my bag and I use hand sanitizer A LOT considering I sometimes work with clients for makeup applications. I also get really dry hands so the hand cream, that comes with a nail file too is perfect. The two sanitizers smell absolutely amazing, I have the Jelly Belly Very Cherry (which I actually have the car air freshener of too) and the Moisturizing Hand Sanitizer in Christmas Cranberry. They’re both so affordable at under £4 and are such a practical gift. The Hand Cream in Sweet Marshmallow and File duo are also extremely affordable at £4.99. These gifts are great for any age, the perfect stocking fillers!

Pack a Punch

There’s nothing better than opening a stocking filler, expecting a chocolate but getting something special! Wrap up something to surprise them this year like this beautiful Pandora Ring.

I’m almost certain they don’t do this exact one now but I will include some similar, just as beautiful options! A ring is such a beautiful accessory and they just feel so special. It’s a great surprise to pop in someone’s stocking as they won’t be expecting it at all. Alternatives: Cosmic Lines Ring, Beaded Wish Ring(s), Forever Hearts Ring.

And We’re Done..

So that’s it for this years gift guide, these are my top picks this year! I hope you all have the most wonderful Christmas filled with love and joy.

All my love,

Abbie x
