Hey guys,

Today I’m coming at you with a quick tutorial on a bold, glittery make up look! All products I used will be linked throughout the post incase you want to check them out, enjoy!

So to start off I always prep my skin by cleansing, moisturising and then using a primer. The primer I used today was the Smashbox Primer Water. At the moment my skin is pretty dry so this feels nice and hydrating as it settles into the skin.. I wouldn’t say its the best primer as it doesn’t improve the longevity of my make up by that much but it feels great.

I then went in with my base, I used the Make Up Forever Ultra HD Stick Foundation and mixed the shades ‘Y225’ & ‘Y425’ to match my complexion as my tan is on its last legs! I adore this foundation, it works really well for my skin and gives a beautiful luminous finish. I then went ahead and did my brows with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown, I’ve used this for a good 3 years now and I can’t bare the thought of being without it. After brows I went on to concealer & priming my eyes, I use my concealer to do both at the same time! Today I used the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer  in ’15 Fair’ which really isn’t fair enough, but after I bake it brightens it up a bit! To bake I used my holy grail RCMA No Colour Powder .

While I leave my face to set with powder on I move on to eyes. Today I went in with the Morphe 35N palette and put 3 medium brown shades through my crease and a deeper, richer brown on the outer corner. This palette is all matte and I think it should be a staple in everyones collection, I use it almost every day! After I was happy with the intensity on my eyes I went in with the copper shade in the Morphe 35O, covered it with the Lit Glitter Glue and covered that with the Crystal Eyes Glitter ‘Rose Gold’. In my opinion this glitter is much more copper/orangey than it is rose gold but it is really pretty none the less. To line my lid I used the Morphe Black Gel Liner, as there is glitter down I didn’t use a liquid or pen liner as the glitter can ruin the tip. If yours is a little too dry, mix it with a little bit of Inglot’s Duraline and it’ll work like magic again. I applied a healthy amount of black pencil liner, any will do mine happens to be from Estee Lauder, while it was still wet I smoked it out with a pencil brush into the browns under my eyes. I applied a couple of layers of Pur’s Volume Vixen Mascara and then popped Saba Lashes ‘Gigi‘ on.

Eyes complete, I moved back onto my face! First off I dusted away the bake I had on under my eyes and set the rest of my face with whatever was on the brush. To bronze up I used The Balm’s Bahama Mama which to be honest can be quite patchy unless you really set your face well so it took a bit of work to blend it out but I did the best I could! I added a little more RCMA powder below to clean up the line as I didn’t want to ‘contour’ too much today. I smothered my face in Mary Lou Manizer from The Balm for a golden glow and then doused myself in Gerard Cosmetic Setting Spray.

Finally, I put on Colourpop Love Bug which is one of my all time favourite liquid lipsticks and that is the finished look! I love bold, dramatic looks like this and I find they are perfect for winter when I can pack a lot more make up on without worrying I’m going to sweat it all off!

If you want to have a look at any of the products in this just press the name of the product you’re interested in! I’ve linked everything to where I buy them from but there are lots more websites that stock most of the products I talked about today.
