My all time favourite concealers, drugstore & high end.

Hello beauties!

Concealer is my thing, every make up addict has a thing… right? Concealer is just mine.. I have tested out so so many over the years and wanted to quickly share a few of my all time favourites with you and tell you how they work for me.

Just so ya know, I’m a combo gal so I have an oily T-zone and a dry cheek/forehead area and I also have problem skin (acne basically). So these are the products that work really well for me coverage & staying power wise, enjoy.

First off we have my ALL TIME FAVOURITE concealer ever made, Maybelline Fit Me concealer:

Damn. I cannot fault this concealer it just works for me SO WELL! Despite common confusion, 15 is the lightest shade.. not 10! So I wear the shade 15 and it works really well as a highlight even when I’m pale. I switch over to 10 when I’m fake tanned. The staying power is so good on this and I just adore the finish. It is super creamy and natural.

My next absolute godsend is the Urban Decay Naked skin weightless complete coverage concealer *takes deep breath*:

Stunning concealer! I love this so much. It is SO lightweight, blends out like an absolute dream. The name, although long, really does describe the product so well. I have the shade fair neutral which goes with my fair skin tone really nicely, perfect for highlighting under the eyes and it doesn’t ever crease on me which I love. A little more pricey than others but totally worth the money.

A cult favourite, Collection Lasting perfection:

I really like this, it’s cheap as chips and does a really good job at covering. I feel like it lasts really well on my skin, the only complaint I have is that all the colours are quite pink based which doesn’t really suit my skin tone all that well, the darker colours oxidise a little on me too which isn’t fab. All round it is actually a really nice concealer though.

Lastly my Morphe 10 Concealer palette:

I use this a lot on other people as it has a nice range of shades in it and is really nice for highlighting and bronzing up the skin. The one thing I don’t like is how dry the concealers are before I use an oil in them however, after adding in a beauty oil they work really nicely. They’re super pigmented and last quite a long time on the skin. Perfect for make up artists if you’re willing to work a bit of oil in to them first.

And thats it! Those are all my favourite concealers as of right now! I always use a beauty blender to blend my concealers out in case you’re wondering! I find that a lot of brushes leave streaks and I’m not patient enough to sort that out.

If you’ve tried these let me know below how you get on with them! Or if you have any suggestions for products that would work with my skin let me know!

Hope you’ve all had a fab week,

Lots of love!

Abbie xx
